Day 1

The Guilin Memories Private 3 Day Guilin Tour will commence with a pick-up from your Guilin City hotel at 9:00 am. Being a private tour, there is flexibility with start time with the possibility of starting the day earlier or later in the morning. When you complete the tour booking, please advise us of your preferred time to commence the private day tour and this can be accommodated.

Following pick-up from your Guilin Hotel, you’ll be transferred to Dazhai Village at the Jinkeng Rice Terraces. From Guilin City to Dazhai Village it takes approximately 2 x hours. Upon arriving into Dazhai Village, you’ll explore this Yao Ethnic Minority Village, famous for the long-haired women who live there! You’ll also board a chairlift up to Golden Buddha Peak – offering fantastic views overlooking the surrounding villages and incredible Rice Terraces.

After the chairlift, enjoy a local lunch consisting of Bamboo Chicken (Local specialty) and vegetables. Vegetarian dishes can also be accommodated too. In the early afternoon, visitors have the option to further explore the villages or hike throughout the Rice Terraces before being transferred back to your Guilin Hotel to enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 2

In the morning, meet your private tour guide and experienced driver at your Guilin Hotel Lobby to commence the day’s activities. After driving for approximately 40 x minutes, you’ll arrive at Guilin’s pier and board the Li River Cruise (4 Star Li River Cruise Boat – Upper Deck Seating).

The Li River Cruise travels from Guilin Pier to Yangshuo and takes between 3 -4 hours, depending upon water speed. Enjoy the towering karst mountains that appear alongside the river and into the distance as well as the rural countryside, which Southern China is famous for.

Upon arrival into Yangshuo, disembark the Li River Cruise and explore Yangshuo’s most famous street – West Street. Walk the cobbled streets, discover the hidden alleyways or relax and grab a coffee! Thereafter, move to the scenic Yulong Valley for the afternoon’s activities. Visitors will have the option to choose either cycling around the Yulong Valley Scenic Area (which can include the famous 10 Mile Gallery) OR the Yulong River Rafting. Depending upon your preferences, you will pay entrance fee or bicycle hire fees directly.

During the late afternoon, return to West Street for dinner (dinner is not included in pricing but there are many restaurants to choose from) before being transferred to the evening’s show. The Impression 3rd Sister Liu Show is a famous evening show held in Yangshuo on the banks of the scenic Li River. With over 700 actors and the karst mountains featured as the backdrop, this incredible performance is one of the best things to do in Yangshuo. It runs for approximately 70 minutes and the end of the show, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel in Guilin or Yangshuo to conclude the tour.

Day 3

Today, begin the tour by being transferred directly to the Reed Flute Cave, located on the outskirts of Guilin City. Upon arriving at the cave, your tour guide will escort you to a special entrance on the second floor and privately guide you through the cave, away from the big tour groups. The Reed Flute Cave features some spectacular limestone cave scenery and most visitors take approximately 1 x hour within the cave.

Thereafter, depart Reed Flute Cave and travel approximately 20 minutes to Guilin’s famous landmark – Elephant Trunk Hill. Located in the center of the Li River, this world-famous scenic attraction resembles an Elephant drinking water from the Li River.

Afterwards, travel to a nearby famous local restaurant to eat Guilin’s most famous cuisine – Guilin Rice Noodles. No trip to Guilin is complete without tasting this delicious local specialty! In the early afternoon, you’ll visit Fubo Hill and overlook Guilin City and the surrounding scenes from the peak of Fubo Hill.

In the evening, an optional activity (additional charge) enjoy the scenery of the Four Lakes in central Guilin City on-board the Four Lakes Night Cruise. During the cruise, you’ll see the famous Sun and Moon Pagodas, nightline of Guilin City, Cormorant Fisherman and more! At the conclusion of the Four Lakes Night Cruise, return transfer to your hotel in Guilin to enjoy the evening at leisure and conclude the tour.
