The Guilin City Walking Day Tour will commence by meeting at the outside of the Jolive Vue Boutique Hotel lobby in central Guilin City. The meeting time is typically 9:00 am but being a private tour, there is flexibility with start time with the possibility of starting the day earlier or later in the morning. When you complete the tour booking, please advise us of your preferred time to commence the private day tour and this can be accommodated.

The first stop is where Guilin’s most famous landmark is located – Elephant Trunk Hill. The symbol of Guilin and Southern China’s karst scenery, Elephant Trunk Hill towers from the Li River and represents an Elephant and its trunk drinking from the river. No visit to Guilin is complete without a visit to Elephant Trunk Hill!

Following the visit to Elephant Trunk Hill, you’ll walk along the banks of the Li River in central Guilin City and cross the liberation bridge to the other side of the city, where Seven Star Park is located. During the late morning, explore the views and attractions around Seven Star Park before moving onto lunch at a nearby eatery to taste the delicious Guilin Rice Noodles!

In the afternoon, walk back across the Liberation Bridge to Fubo Hill – a scenic hill located on the banks of the Li River offering spectacular views across Guilin city. You’ll then return to the city lakes area to enjoy the Riyue Shuangta Cultural Park overlooking the Sun and Moon Pagoda’s on the lakes.

The overall walking distance is approximately 7.5 kilometers throughout the tour.
