The Guilin Rural Cycling Tour will commence with a pick-up from your Guilin City hotel at 8:00 am and you will be transferred to the bicycle storage shop to select bicycles. Being a private tour, there is some flexibility with start time with the possibility of starting the day earlier or later in the morning but 8:00 am is preferred.

Upon selecting your bicycles and helmets, you’ll depart Guilin City for your private cycling day tour. The tour requires visitors to have a medium-level of fitness as the overall distance cycled will be approximately 65 kilometers throughout the day. There is a combination of flat roads as well as a medium-level uphill climb (approx.1.5 x kilometers).

The views throughout the tour are incredible – ranging from rural countryside scenery to traditional old towns, villages and rice paddies. Some of the trail is fully paved whilst other trails are off-road with a dam-crossing (low water level) and great experience for getting off-the-beaten track and away from Guilin City to experience the best of what rural China has to offer!
