At the shoal, the water is see-through that tourists can view the large beige slab at the bottom of the river. The slab is like a yellow cloth lying on the river bed, which the name of Yellow Cloth Shoal is named after.

On either side of the shoal, 7 karst hills in different sizes and heights guards the shoal. At the shoal, green bamboo forests witnesses the Li River cruise boats and the private Li River motorized rafts coming and going on the river for tens of years.

Whether the Reflection of Yellow Cloth Shoal is gorgeous depends on the weather condition. When it is rainy, the reflection is broken by raindrops. On foggy days, the reflection is hidden in the fog. Only when it is fine, the reflection will present the most stunning view.
