If you are staying overnight in Xingping one night before and would like to enjoy the private Li River motorized raft without being disturbed by any strangers, it is strongly recommended that you enjoy the raft by 08:30 am. The route of the private raft in Xingping is from Xingping to Nine-horse Fresco Hill and back to Xingping. The entire raft tour lasts for around 60 minutes.
After the private rafting, if interested, you can view the cormorant fishing demonstration on the section of the Li River in Xingping. Then, you could go to West Street. It takes around 1 hour ride from Xingping to Yangshuo. After exploring the West Street, you could visit the Xianggong Hill to enjoy the bird’s eye view of the Li River and the karst hills around. Finally, go back to Guilin City.
The Li River is also great for hiking. If you love hiking, you could enjoy the Li River hike during your stay in Yangshuo. You could just hike along the section of the Li River near Yangshuo. Or you could hike from Yangshuo to Xingping along the river in the morning. If the 4 star return Li River Cruise is available on your travel date, you also can take it from Xingping pier to Guilin after you hike to Xingping. The 4 star return cruise departs at 12:30 pm.
