The location of the Li River is in North-Eastern Guangxi Province in Southern China. The location of the starting point of the river is on Cat Mountain (Mao’er Mountain) in Xing’an while the location of the ending point is in Pingle. The Li River runs past the Old Lingqu Canal in Xing’an, flows into Lingchuan for nearly 45 kilometers, then into the City of Guilin and finally into Yangshuo.
In the City of Guilin, the Li River runs past Elephant Trunk Hill – the old landmark of Guilin, Fubo Hill where tourists can enjoy the panoramic views of Guilin at the heart of the city and where locals do morning exercises, and square dancing , Diecai Hill which offers several peaks to hike and Liberation Bridge offering amazing night views and which is within 10 minutes walk from Zhengyang Pedestrian Street.
