The process of the sun rising is very amazing. If you would like to take pictures of the Li River sunrise on the hill, it is strongly recommended that you arrive at the hill in to very early morning as it is very popular among local and foreign photographers.
Yangshuo Bridge is also a good point of enjoy the Li River sunrise. Located around 2 kilometers southeast of the West Street in Yangshuo, the bridge is another option to take photos of the Li River sunrise. At dawn, the sun slowly rises from the back of the karst hills along the river. At one time, if you see from an appropriate angle, you’ll see it seems that the sun like a round golden light were on the top of one hill.
Laozhai Mountain in Xingping Old Town offers beautiful Li River sunrise as well. As the road on the mountain offers no handrails plus some sections of the road are rusty and steep iron steps, it can be very dangerous in the very early morning to climb the mountain to admire the Li River sunrise. Thus, it is not suggested that the younger children and the elder explore it.
