A Deluxe (4 Star) Li River Cruise – operating daily! See the Li River’s iconic scenery from our deluxe boats.
The VIP Seating is at the front of the boat on the upper deck in a slightly enclosed area. It has the best inside views looking directly out the front of the boat on the Li River during the cruise and there are only 8 – 12 x tickets per boat available *subject to availability*.

Please note: we have 1 x newly constructed boat with all upper deck VIP seating. The seating type is comfortable VIP seating with panoramic window views and the same VIP facilities as our other cabins. Usually, this boat isn’t allocated to clients but on occasions it’s the only ship sailing and if this boat isn’t an acceptable option, please advise us when you’re booking.
The Deluxe Li River Cruise (4 Star Boat) is the only deluxe Li River Cruise boat operating on a daily basis . It’s commonly referred to as the ‘best boat available’ (although that status is reserved for the Luxury Li River Cruise (4.5 Star Boat). There are multiple 4-star boats that depart daily offering a mid-range option for visitors.
The interior of the boat facilities and overall cleanliness are at a good level, with larger, comfortable seats as well as clean bathrooms. The number of person’s on-board is approximately half the Superior 3-Star Boat Cruise and there isn’t as much micophone usage on-board. This option is a much more comfortable and enjoyable experience compared to the Superior Cruise Boats but it’s also more expensive.
These boats depart in the afternoon from Yangshuo Pier (Xingping) to Guilin Pier.
*Note: Guilin Pier is located approximately 40 x minutes from Guilin City. We recommend arranging a transfer beforehand as there are no passing taxis to/from the pier. We can arrange transfers from Guilin Pier to any hotels in Guilin City for 300 CNY per MPV Van (this can be booked online).
